The points on the stars are proving difficult for me! This is my second attempt... still not just right!
The plaid pieced flying geese is my favorite, even tho it isn't just right either... Oh well... Guess I'll stop aiming for perfection and just have fun from now on.. looks like some child made them, doesn't it? Well, I'm in my 2nd childhood already.. |
They look. Practice makes perfect.

Beautiful
Love them both
I agree with the 2nd childhood! Thanks for posting your pics. I have a quilt guild challenge using a plaid shirt. I may do something similar to your flying geese quilt.
Great job!
Looks great to me... I need to do a few small quilts..for a small antique quilt rack I found...also...who wants to grow up?
so cute.

These are adorable! I really like your table runner/topper in the background too!! ;)

They are both adorable! The stars look beautiful not like a child made it. You did a great job. I love the plaid one, plaids are so ‘homey.’
Both Look Good to me!!
Just love them both..they look perfect. But if you are wanting to work on your point perfection..which is what I'm doing now too ~ Check out Pam Bono's site. I've almost got it down and what little bit thats off is getting taken up in the wiggle room. I think it actually has to do more with the way I'm pressing than anything else. But I'm sooo close.

You are too hard on yourself!!
they look terrific. good job.
they look real good to me!

I have started using a "scant" 1/4" seam in most of my piecing, but have just been eyeballing it... Guess I need you to talk me into it... lol |

I think they look great. Hang your quilt on the house next door. Go back to your house. Look at your quilt hanging on the neighbors house. If you can't see any imperfections, it is a keeper. On to the next project.

I think they both look great! Remember, we are our own worst critics, as we see what no one else does, & know it's there! Just enjoy!...
Little darlings!
They are both cute quilts.
They look terrific. I love the mini quilts.
I think they both look great, but I gotta say I love those flying geese.
Wow! The second one would be a wonderful way to use flannel shirts for a memory quilt!
A comment from someone who doesn't always appreciate flying geese--but this is a stunner that I will keep in mind. |
I love your collections!!
