I am trying to use up some of my hand dyed fabric and love the iris flower. The first one is quilted first and then shaded with ink. I was trying for a dreamy Monet's garden look. I have had the background fabric for a year now and loved it when I dyed it. The second is just a stained glass version, really simple. I haven't quilted it yet. As always, I love to share my patterns, just pm me with information.
Have you posted how you dye your fabric? My first attempt was rather sad---colors looked rather murky. Your fabric is fantastic. |

They are both beautiful. My grandmother grew this flower in her back yard in Brooklyn. I cannot see one without thinking of her and times that are long gone.
Iris are easy to grow. All they need is a lot of sun and no wet feet. Treat yourself and plant one. |
Beautiful. You did a great job.

Ah! You always have such neat things that you do. I really like these too.
