Ok, I need to get more than one done. A couple of these are WIPS and a couple of these have been around a while The wedding gift will be a lap size quilt.
I just got a wedding invitation on Friday, the wedding is Oct 10. In the center of the fabrics is a picture of the plates they have chosen, very colorful, but it is the only thing I have to go on for colors [ATTACH=CONFIG]46963[/ATTACH] This is how far I got today [ATTACH=CONFIG]46964[/ATTACH] I put this square together this week. It is to make a 24" square pillow for my DD#3. It matches her quilt which is in my avitar. It has been sitting around in pieces for over 4 years. I now need to quilt it and turn it into a pillow with a zipper. [ATTACH=CONFIG]46965[/ATTACH] |

a couple more I intend to finish by beginning of November.
I also need to finish the "I spy Alaska" I'm making for my Mother-in-law for taking us all on an Alaskan cruise, I am hoping to get the quilt for my bed done. I posted it last week or so asking for help on the borders. I have to decide on those and get working on it. A charity quilt for my quild. I got the top together last weekend. It needs a back chosen and quilting etc. I need to turn in early November for our December giveaway This is a Turning Twenty Again pattern [ATTACH=CONFIG]46966[/ATTACH] This quilt has been around for 3 years. I just need to finish the quilting on it [ATTACH=CONFIG]46967[/ATTACH] This is a wall hanging I put together over 6 years ago. You really have an eye for color. I love bright colors! I also love earth tones. Oh, heck. I love lots of stuff. Don't overwhelm yourself, now. Just pick what you REALLY think you can finish.

Okay, I have been "working" on this for about 10 years. I think it's high time. There are 12 blocks in the kit but I have just had it with applique and settled on 9 to make a quilt work out. I now have my 9 blocks (18" sq.!!) and my setting fabric ( hope it's enough). Here we go!!

AnnaK, those blocks are sooo interesting and gorgeous. Yes, you need to do something with them. (Now, I've got my never encouraging anyone to "do something." I should take my own advice. :oops: ) What is the connecting fabric (sashing, etc.)?
