That is exactly what I did with mine a while back. I was going to suggest this, but I didn't... You must have read my mind.

I think it looks nice. The light inner boarder frames all the different fabrics that you used. You did good. Now with the boarder it really pops.

Bind it in your yellow & voila! the finishing touch! I think it is turning out to be beautiful - like a beautiful butterfly from a caterpillar.

I love it! Of course I really like yellow....But I would say to use a darker colored binding. That will frame it all in....
