I thought turquoise was a bit much, but robin egg blue was ok. For yellow I thought a gold color worked best.

I love the gold. (great way to test out colors!)
looks like a nice down to earth autumn colored block, but NOT UGLY?! I like the browns, they're one of my fave colors....sometimes plain is tranquil; less is more...you get it...
WOW that gold really brings that quilt to life, way more than the red. I am surprised by how much I love it with the gold added!!!
Sorry girl but really like it. Be sure to show us the finished product.
It's gonna be fine, but yeah on the sashing.
Love the gold!!!
I think it is very pretty ... but then I do a lot of work with fabrics that supposedly don't go together. Somehow I think everything works out.

I'll send you my address, so you can send your "ugly" quilt to me. I wouldn't want you to suffer the anguish of having to look at it. <G> (PS... so what's ugly about it? Am I not seeing something?)
I sure the quilting will pull it together too. I agree it's not ugly.

OK red got many votes, but I think outside the box and that is a dark turquiose

Me, I would add a green print around the blocks...maybe something with deer or even coffee! But I like the red too. The other colors didn't send me though.
