You did a very good job on the tree skirt.

Hi I just saw the picture of your christmas tree skirt. It is realy great and I would have loved to wear it for a square dance skirt. That is beside the point, Take your lenght of fabric and unfold it, then fold it in half along the selvage edge. Then draw a quarter circle on the folded edge, and another one on the oppisite corner, when cut out you have one half circle and two half circles and when sewn together will make a circle to use for your lining. Of course be sure to check for the correct size for your tree skirt. If you have any questions, Pm me and I will explain in mor detail. Trish b

So far you've clearly done a good job Debbie. Sorry you are not pleased with the fabrics. That happens to me too. What if you gave up on your current backing fabric and cut a circle to apply to the back out of a large piece of fleece? No binding, hemming or fraying that way. |

Give it to me Put it under my tree Then we sall see Who says yipee! Love it! But I have no math skills to help with the lining. Dina's answer sounds good to me! |
