I couldn't find what I wanted until I saw this cube, rotating, photo holder come into work with the new product set.....
The top comes off to insert photos and the center inside space is where I will keep my package of needles or something. Maybe a good place to hide my chocolate that was discussed on another thread as a beginners start up needs. LOl

I should have taken pics as I went along I guess. I'll work on one for you if you want.

Who else wants instructions?

I do, I do :D :D. Can I come get some of that same fabric too?? ;-) ;-)

I love it. I also love the background scenery.

QBeth 04-06-2010 10:47 AM

Until I scrolled down, I thought you'd made an ENORMOUS cube for outdoors! Then I read the part about hiding chocolate there..... it might be big enough. :D

Background scenery is my back 'yard' in TN.
Fabric is from Walmart.
Come on over.

Cute and a very clever idea. Would love pattern.

Marjpf 04-06-2010 10:53 AM

Great idea. But like so many others, I am really jealous of your back yard! The down side of living in Los Angeles, very small yards.

BrendaB 04-06-2010 10:54 AM

Very nice! I'm all about organization and that is a cute and functional pin cushion. Thanks for sharing and good job

I thought the same thing! I had to look closely because the view looks very similar to the view I had in Montana. Oh, how I miss that place!

While I go work on the tute for you on the pin cushion I'll let you all enjoy my back yard/view. Starts with the left view from our deck, looks over our yard, neighbor's yard, two pastures and them the mountains.
Next are views going towards the right.
To be followed by the trees in our front yard and the neighbor's tree -- in bloom.

Now I'm going to go work on the instructions. May be tomorrow before they get posted with pics, but keep watching.

You can find the beginning to the tute under Tutorials. I did make it up myself. My co-workers never know what I am going to "see" when we get product in. I love being creative.

Oh BTW - they are calling for snow in our higher elevations on Thursday. So hurry. (We won't get any here where I live but the temps will be in the 50's instead of the 80's

1quilt_gma 04-07-2010 01:33 PM

I would be tempted to take my machine out on the front porch and work there!

I live in the country, too, but don't have such a wide range of gorgeous green as you do!
