Unbeweaveable finished finally!

I finally finished this quilt! I used a variegated thread and just meandered for the quilting. I had posted a picture some time ago with information about the quilt and pattern. Glad to finally add it to the completed list.

Raine54RN 10-29-2013 02:58 AM

I. M impressed! Love the brightness against the black. Looks too intricate for me, my brain would stumble. Super wonderful job!

Daisy Dew 10-29-2013 03:07 AM

it's just great. But I have to ask LO are your eyes uncrossed yet - and how many hours did you spend at your design wall. This is a quilt I would love to have but I doubt I would undertake it. Big congrats to you :thumbup::thumbup:

suenichols 10-29-2013 03:21 AM

The pattern is called Unbeweaveable. It uses the X block ruler. It wasn't difficult. It was time consuming. I probably have 40 hours in it including the quilting and binding. Cutting took time. If I remember correctly, there are 530 black squares. Mine was king size but with this pattern you cut the same number of pieces no matter whether you make a lap or a king. The difference is the size of the X block ruler you choose. It was fun and I love the result. I may have trouble giving this one away.

JuneD 10-29-2013 03:24 AM

Wow!!!!! That is incredible. As others have said here, it's beautiful but not something I would every try!!! Very, very impressive!!!!

Martii 10-29-2013 03:27 AM

WOW - it looks very very difficult. Is this your own design. Congratulations on having the patience for this.

2manyhobbies 10-29-2013 03:47 AM

So neat! I would possibly try it...way after the holidays :-)

kwiltkrazy 10-29-2013 04:29 AM

OMG, that is spectacular. A case in point the quilting you did is exactly what that quilt was calling for. What is the pattern and where can I find it.

callen 10-29-2013 04:36 AM

Wow, that is gorgeous but looks soooooo complicated. I think not for the faint of heart !!
