This is my latest quilt, not very easy to put together and not very easy to quilt. I've spent a lot of time on this one. Gald its done, don't think it was worth the time and work I spent on it.

Beautiful.. we are our own worst critics sometimes.. from here it looks well worth the time and effort you put into it. love your fabrics you chose too.

Not entering it in a quilt show, it didn't turn out near that good. I will wait until I find someone that needs a quilt and give it to them. I give away most of my quilts.

I have this quilt block on one of my beds--I didn't know the name of it so I called my crowns. Nice to know its real name. I like the 2 colors --mine is more scrappy. Maybe it isn't exactly like yours but awfully close. Here's a picture.

It's beautiful and as a fellow quilter I can appreciate the time and effort that went in to this pattern. It's one of those patterns though that looks easier than it is. I like the ones that look really hard, but are easy to put together. :)

Your quilt is stunning! Very nice job. Such detail in the quilting - sometimes I get tired of looking at a quilt after spending so much time with it. Set it aside & look at it later; you'll appreciate all the time you spent on it then.

Well, I think it was well worth the effort. I love it.

I know what you mean about not enjoying something when you have spent hours on it.

But, a wise woman on this board told me to put it away for a while and then go back and look at it. That worked like a charm! It is just so much familiarity you get sick of it.

All that being said, you have a beautiful quilt there and anyone on this board would be proud to call it thier work.

Thank you all so much. My oldest Daughter thought is beautiful also. Redgarnet is probably right, spending so much time on one kind of makes one get tired of it.
I took a bit of a break and made a crib quilt for 2nd Great Granddaughter expected in Oct. and a baby size quilt for her too. I finished it earlier today, now to take a pic and post it.

Definitly worth the effort! I love 2 color quilts. Yours is very striking. I would be proud if it were mine. Beautiful work.
