Those are really cute pics was that falcon banded? I watch ours grow up every year here in downtown cleveland and they get banded and if one comes in or is spoted and youcan make out the band they like to know. They are such cool birds. Racoons are just to darn cute for there own good.

Nice pics. Wasn't it fun to feed the baby raccoon? When I was a young woman, I had the pleasure of feeding a baby bear.

I agree! We foster kitties for our animal rescue...we've got #'s 61, 62 and 63 right now. Had 64 but poor baby died of starvation a few days after we got her. All the kittens came from a hoarder who had a neighbor who hated cats so he'd catch the kitties and cut off a leg or ??. Our group brought in about 30 kitties and we're fostering 3 of them. All different sizes, different moms we're sure but a couple have the same dad we're sure as they have no tails by birth, not by cruelty. We cry when they go to their forever homes but love them while they are with us.

You'r lucky to have a wildlife vet that close to you . I found an enjured brid ounce and I had to go across sate at a wild brid sansuray(?). took me 3 hrs to get there.

Sad and Happy Updates on our little orange foster kittens and our little sick tiger striped "Little Bit" kitten. Little Bit battled her respiratory problems from birth, in July 08 to mid April 09 but couldn't win the fight and died. We are heartsick and heartbroken as she was such a wonderful little girl and we'll remember her always.

The picture with the 2 little Orange kittens, the one on the left died shortly after we got him but the one on the right was fairly healthy and we eventually learned HE was a SHE. We still have her...she went to adoption day two different times but was absolutely awful. Didn't like anyone, any other kitties, hated the cage, hissed, spit, snarled, meowed and basically made sure nobody wanted HER! We've been saying since last August when we got these kittens to foster that she was the smartest cat we ever knew ...well, she's proved that. She has the home she wants and has NO INTENTIONS of leaving or being adopted by anyone else. We're thinking she's OUR kitty. After having her almost 10 months I don't think we'll be able to let her go to anyone else. She's pretty special and very, very cute.
