up-cycled jeans in to denim quilt
1 Attachment(s)
This turned out way bigger than I thought it would. 100x100 I am not even sure how many jeans I cut up for this bad boy. I used YBR pattern I don't have any pictures of it done but I quilted it on my Tin Lizzy, ran out of time before I needed to deliver it. Thanks for looking and I hope everyone has a great quilting week. :-)

Great denim quilt! It must be incredibly heavy.
awesome -- that'll be warm! & heavy!
Incredible! Look at all that denim! I like the pattern you chose. This gift will be greatly appreciated!
What an incredible job you did with the different shades of denim. Amazing!
Now that is a jeans quilt!
That is beautiful!
Good job..... love it.....
That is beautiful!! So I'm assuming you separated the denim by colors/shades before starting? I love it.
Very nice -- that is a lot of work! I'm sure it will be a much loved treasure.
Wow, it is so pretty. Who would guess blue jeans had that many shades
very striking quilt very nice
Thank you all so much :-) I actually didn't sort them. When I was cutting them they looked pretty much all same color wasn't until I started to put it together that I could see all the shades come out. It is incredibly heavy and the new owner is very happy with it.
Really nice denim quilt! :)

Whatever you did, it was good. The lights, meds, and darks are all in wonderful places. It is beautiful.
Beautiful denim quilt! By the time jeans around my house are ready to be cut up, they are a lot lighter in color than your jeans.
Great quilt. Love the mix of denim colours together.

What a great quilt that will keep you nice and warm. My SIL has made several denim throw quilts, even adding the pockets from the jeans, and they are great at keeping you warm.
Great job!!!!!!!!!! I've thought about making a jeans quilt - just gotten around to it yet.
