Ok 21 blocks down, not sure how many more I'm gonna make and add the piano border. I do like it this was as well as it brakes up the white.

It is turning out great love 1930's fabric. I started one also had a layer cake of Kona snow and had partci0ated in a 10" square swap in Christmas fabrics so I thought what a great way to use them. Have plenty left to make another :)

buddy'smom 09-07-2013 11:22 AM

Thanks everyone, Oh I may just make one in Christmas & Halloween as well. I don't buy the layer cakes, just have to cut my own and boy does it take a toll on my poor back.

Your doing a great job on your envelope quilt! Sorry you had to do some ripping on it! It's going to be a beautiful quilt!

sew_Tracy 09-07-2013 01:57 PM

I love it! Best of all, none of them are bills!

Auntevie 09-07-2013 02:07 PM

I love your 30's fabrics! I also cant wait to see it all finished! I bet the piano border will be the perfect finish.

Auntevie 09-07-2013 02:09 PM

..also I cant decide which I like better...the envelopes closed or open. I actually like them both! But that may because of your fabric choices...so pretty!
