I have just finished this HST baby quilt.......yeah!!! I have a reputation for having LOTS of WIPs!! I have so enjoyed doing this quilt.....literally 'playing' with HSTs!! One of my friends gave birth to a baby girl at 4.30 this morning (Lottie) so I think this will be her first quilt!!! Great timing Lottie !!! :) I have just quilted in the ditch!

I've never seen the way the ribbons meet in the center. Is there a pattern you could share with us?

I had seen a picture, I think on Pinterest(?), where someone was playing with Half Square Triangles! I have a boxful of HST s .....so I started 'playing ' too!! I started with the pinwheel and just kept twisting a d turning until I was happy with it!!! Needed some concentration whilst piecing.....but we got there!!! Better still.....all from my stash!! The green gingham border/backing fabric I have had for years!!! I just love 30s fabrics and have done several quilts with them.....I still have enough for several more!!!!!!!

I love the fabrics and the design. Congrats to Lottie on the new baby girl! Love the way you quilted it, I'm always looking for ideas that I can quilt myself, and I think I could do this one.
