Can someone tell me what these are and where to go to see how to do it? I love the look but I can't see how the pattern got made. Really fascinating to look at.

I didn't buy the book (yet) either I printed the shapes for the paper pieces and studied the pics of the finished quilts, so it can be done. At first I intended to get started and see if I liked the whole process then if I was going to continue to get the book then, after I got going and was doing it w/o I just kinda kept going.

This quilt is the La Passacaglia, it is the featured quilt in a book written by Willyne Hammerstein. Most make it w/ English Paper piecing but it can be done w/ hand straight stitch too.
