Update to the: Ugliest Scrappy quilt E.V.E.R, Wickedly Easy pattern???
 

Looks like my sister's boy friend really loves the quilt I gave him. He was so excited. He had said that when he had heard I quilted that he was hoping to get a quilt one day :) He has text messaged me every night since he has gotten it and says he is about to curl up under the best quilt ever and that he loves it :) Told me that I better be ready to make him another one because he is going to be using this one ALOT lol

The other two pictures are of my mom and dad getting their Quilted Pure Comfort Wrap. They were really glad to have gotten theirs as well. Growing up I remember my dad always walking around the house in the winter time with a blanket on his shoulders. So when I found this pattern I thought of my parents! It was perfect!

I am so glad to see everyone happy with their quilts :) It makes me feel good knowing they are wrapped up in a little love from me :)

Isn't it awesome when the really really love the quilt? My cousins husband was so complimentary of the scrappy quilt for their engagement that they got a queen sized for the wedding shower (Irish chain in their favorite colors).

Wendy, you are too funny with referring to that quilt as the ugliest quilt ever. I'm glad that he sincerely likes his quilt.

I've realized that when making a D9P, one must tone down some of the fabrics so not to scream "Aaaah" or "Yuck." I must not ever attempt to put all of my favorite fabrics in one D9P ever again. I've made quite a few blocks and every once in a while, I'll pull them out and think "What on earth was I thinking? It looks so obnoxious with all those busy fabrics." Then I just put them all back into the zip lock bag and there they sit until the next time I do the same thing.

Your wickedly easy quilt is actually really nice. I love the colours in it.
This is hilarious. I didn't follow your other thread, but had to look at this because I also made the wickedly easy pattern in what I considered to be the ugliest fabric possible. Like yours, it turned out better than the individual pieces and has now gone to a home where it is loved and well used.
Your shoulder quilts are great, too. Your dad reminds me very much of my own. I'll bet he's a wonderful man.
