I made a quilt for my new niece, which I titled "Autumnal Little Ponies" because the colors reminded me of a collection of My Little Pony toys.
And here's a detail with some of the free motion quilting showing on the flannel back. With snippets from "Sherbert for 20" I made a collection of these spit-up rags -- free motion quilting on flannel. And then, this was absolutely all that was left. . . For scale, the pink square is less than 3/4 " With the scraps from the Autumnal ponies, I made this quilt, which I call "Strawberry Shortcake". With the scraps from Strawberrry Shortcake, I made this large doll quilt/small wallhanging, which I call "Sherbert for a party of 20" |
