I should of looked up the book that I got it out of before I put this on but as soon as I find it I will let you know. It used
1 1/2 inch strips and 2 1/2 in strips because that is what I had.

Happy Linda 05-24-2012 05:24 AM

jad1044 05-24-2012 05:42 AM

Such beauties!!! love them all - one just as pretty as teh next one... keep up the good work; it inspires me to begin using scraps for a quilt soon - have a huge kitchen garbage bag of them now from the last quilts I made - so maybe time to diminish that supply....

homebody323 05-24-2012 05:47 AM

That third quilt has a very impressive border. Is it like a bargello? They are all wonderful. Clear out those scraps girl!

roadrunr 05-24-2012 05:52 AM

I really like the first one. Would like the name of the patern so that I could make it as well - I have lots and lots of scraps and would like to use more of them up.

Your quilts are beautiful. I've never seen a completely scrappy Rail Fence and I like yours. Scrap quilts just look so homey and comforting. Thanks for posting.

They are wonderful! Bright, cheerful and large enough to have great side drops.

Beauties indeed! I love scrappies and I really like the first one, the pattern is so neat. You should post these on the scrappy thread, too!

The first quilt is call Arctic Nights in the book All-Time Favorite Scrap Quilts from That Patchwork Place

The second one is just a rail fence made with 5 - 1 1/2 inch strips

The third one is Snake River log Cabin in the book called Judy Martins log Cabin Quilt Book.

I don't have them quilted until someone chooses it or some one buys the top.

wolph33 05-24-2012 01:16 PM

all are great scrappy quilts

joy 05-24-2012 01:48 PM

Bento box quilt pattern.... google that name... you should see some small photos and this one is the one on the right.... this person whose quilts we have been looking at has made the last round a lot wider... I do like this idea as it makes it look different.... I have made three of these and have some material waiting for me to do another... it is one pattern that I really like and is so easy to make.... makes me want to start right now....

cheaha39 05-24-2012 01:49 PM

Scraps are wonderful as are your quilts....

quilt addict 05-24-2012 02:17 PM

Boy, these are great. I love scrappy quilts. I just was wondering, this was all fabric you had left from making one quilt? You must buy more then what was called for in the pattern. I do that also because I make mistakes but don't think I would have enough to make 3 more tops. They are lovely though.

krysti 05-24-2012 02:37 PM

Love em all!

malega 05-24-2012 03:24 PM

All of them are so very pretty, scraps make such beuatiful quilts.

nls 05-24-2012 03:31 PM

Great job on all of them!

RDM 05-24-2012 04:16 PM

Great scrappy quilts and all seem fairly large in size. You've been busy.
