oooohhh pretty! I just love drunkard path blocks. This one is really bright and pretty!

There is such an animal as a curved piecing foot which a friend of mine used for all curved piecing. You might try one.

I like that very much!! Not (was not) a big fan of Drunkard's Path but this changes my mind!! Beautiful use of colors.

MargeD 08-15-2015 09:51 AM

You did a great job. Love the quilt and all your scrappy colors.

Beautiful job. Thanks for showing it.

Very nicely done. I also like to sew curves. I like the scrappy look very much. I will look forward to seeing it quilted.

Nice drunkards' path quilt.

oksewglad 08-15-2015 05:12 PM

Nice....great way to tame the scraps..

Snooze2978 08-16-2015 04:14 AM

I've never done a drunkards path as I try to avoud curves but your quilt top makes me want to try my hand at it. Have lots of scraps and yours just makes it so inviting. What size blocks did you use and are the whites scrappy too or all one fabric? Love, love, love yours.

ontheriver 08-16-2015 04:38 AM

Love your quilt, when I first looked I saw flowers, then the rest.

A delightful quilt. I look forward to see it finished.

Lovely scrappy!

Katiedid2 08-16-2015 06:51 AM

Used 5 "template for blocks"...purchased the white. Lots of good videos out there for sewing curves.... Actually gets easier as u go. Used 1/4 inch foot when sewing. "Plain pat" posted instructions on here... Very good... It is the block /layout like I made page 5... Thanks

Your quilt is so pretty......i may have to try that one on a small version.....i love scrappy but that one takes a little extra work......great job.........

Kim B 08-17-2015 06:01 PM

Well done! I love the white and pops of color and the curves are a challenge. My second quilt, Dancing Rainbows, which I made for my daughter was scary, but worth it as my daughter loves it. Yours is a real "keeper"!

I have watched several videos that show doing them with glue and then one with the 1/4 "wash away tape. Have not tried it yet but looks promising.
