Using Small I Spys
I found a really cute I Spy fabric. But the patches were too small to swap (less than 5"). So I used them in a disappearing nine patch custom to the patch size and it tuned out kinda cute. The back is a twin sheet set I found at a yard sale. It is for my first great niece......Gee, I'm getting old.....enjoy:

That is a very cute quilt! The back is as adorable as the front. You did a great job and this quilt will bring a smile to a little ones face.

The quilt is adorable but I LOVE that raggedy ann and andy sheet! What a find!
I really like your lime/red color combination! I'm lousy at colors and envy your great combination.
cute quilt!!!
Very cute!
That is real cute and how creative of you to change up the pattern. Also really love your backing fabric-so cute.
It is amazing how quilters can always find a use for fabric no matter what the size. A lovely result.
That's a very cute I Spy and what a great find for the backing.
she will really like this quilt
Very cute. I like that you didn't put all the I Spy squares facing the same way. The backing brings back memories of my daughter's Raggedy Anne sheets - way back when.
You may be old (like me) but you are an amazing great aunt. That's a great kid quilt!

What a darling quilt, front and back. D9P was the perfect answer for your small I-spy squares. And I love the B/W frames.
Turned out great. I am sure that she will love it. Both sides. BrendaK

Cute fabric front and back.

I love everything about it! The colors are so happy and cheerful. The backing is adorable. I will have to remember to look at sheet sets for backing. I have never tried this idea. Thanks for sharing!
Very clever use of DP9 block. Great quilt for recipient! That idea is one for remembering.
This is such a fun quilt! Your niece will love it! Glad that you were able to adapt the size of the squares! :)

So cute!! I love the I Spy blocks, but the Raggedy Ann and Andy backing won my heart:)
My little daughter loves Raggedy Ann, so I am making her a Raggedy Ann doll out of a '70's pattern for her first birthday next month. I cant wait to see her sweet face when she sees it:) |
It is adorable, she will love it.

What a fun and happy quilt. I think she will spend hours and hours playing on it!

Fabric is Search and See by Jennifer Heynen for In the Beginnings fabric 2016. Looks like there are I Spy, search the boarder, go along fabrics.
