Wasn't in the mood to start on a quilt today so just played around with a few scraps I had. Made a few star oranments ...

5" squares sewn in half to make triangles.
Then turned right side out. Stack 3 triangles and attach together with buttin and slip of ribbon for hanging.

Thanks everyone! They were fun to make & worked up really fast!
I had plans of making more but....(in reference to another post here on the board) my DH needed help with something so
my project was put on hold. :)

All very cute. There are times when we need to let our minds lead us and just play.. I definitely will be doing stars. I have lots of 5" sq.

Cool! When I have those days I usually work on string or crumb blocks.. Eventually I will have enough for a quilt!
