I just finished these for Valentines Day. I've been needing (wanting) a set of 8 for some time now. I made the pattern myself.

Beautiful! I had that same dining set, mine was the tall square one! Sold it a few months ago, moved and didn't have room. Sad face..:(

No the interior hearts are not applique, just the black heart. Since I needed 8 I wanted them to be simple.
