I love those colors! Very nicely done.

hudgoddess 08-17-2011 01:00 PM

I've never seen one like that before. I'd be so tempted to snip the edges to rag them! Does it rag on it's own? Love it!

MargeD 08-17-2011 01:00 PM

It looks very nice and baby can have fun looking at all the beautiful colors.

Sounds very interesting and a great idea for some charity quilts.

Can you provide some more details? I have same questions on construction that some others have asked.

It is a beauty.

What a beautiful quilt! I love it and have put it on my list.
I need to research this one further as one of the ladies at church is having a baby in Nov. and I wanted to make a quilt for them.

I like this quilt. Did you zigzag around each individual square? or ????

Great quilt. Lots of ways to use scrap fabrics pieces. You did a good job.

Stitchlady 08-17-2011 06:20 PM

That is so pretty. What kind of a grid did you use? I don't understand the construction of the quilt

I love the quilt, but not able to 'see' how you did it. Could I see it up closer? I'm not sure what the method was.

JanieH 08-18-2011 09:07 AM

Wonderful quilt! Love the charms.

kaleda 08-18-2011 09:44 AM

Your quilt is charming (no pun intended)!

I need to make 3 baby quilts soon and would like to make one like yours. However, I would need some clarification on your method of construction... When you say that the quarter-charm pieces are "placed" on the muslin, batting & backing "in a grid pattern", do you mean that they are appliqued to the sandwiched materials rather than pieced together with sashing?

If they are appliqued to the sandwich, did you turn the edges under or leave them raw to rag/fray?

Thank you for sharing.

Best wishes,
Kathleen

NOELLA 08-18-2011 12:41 PM
