saw this quilt and thought I'd like to try it . Plenty of stitching but I was happy in the end . It is made up of 1 charm pack cut in qt's and placed on a grid with the backing ,batting and muslin sandwiched , the 2 1/2" sqs placed on a grid style on top of the muslin the sqs stitched on all 4 sides. Try it I'am sure you will like it.

Are the edges of the squares raw, then? It's a very sweet quilt. Love the colors.

NOELLA 08-17-2011 02:19 AM

the tecn didn't seem to a have a name but it is a yoyo mama design forgot to mention after you have drawn all the line to form your grid ,sewn the squares on, and finished the quiilt you will have to wash it . pinking shears are a good thing to cut with you won't have too many threads hanging off but you will have to trim some to tidy it up.
