Here is my first needle-turn applique project, called "A Vintage Christmas" by Bunny Hill designs. This is ready for quilting. I really enjoyed making this and doing all the hand-sewing.
I did not buy fabrics specifically for this project; I just auditioned fabrics from what I had on hand. I like the varied backgrounds; it does give it a more 'vintage' feel. And, no quilt top in the house gets past the inspector! [ATTACH=CONFIG]276787[/ATTACH] |

Love it!....I'm practicing my needle turn, working on V's, curves and points.....Almost ready to start a "real" project....And your quilt guardian is a twin to mine....She makes sure she's all over my projects as well....:)

It's absolutely beautiful! Great job, great choice of colors. It has a sophisticated air to it yet it feels soothing and comfortable can't ask a quilt to do more.

Oh!! Glad to see your version and how beautiful it turned out! I have the pattern and kit from LQS but have a fear of making a mess! My BQF is teaching me needleturn applique on an easier project first, then I'll HAVE to try it!!
