i'm glad you're going to hand quilt it; it will be more simplistic & authentic...

Mine is similar that I finished. My mother's great aunt made this using scraps Mom saved up from our clothes. Most are feed sacks. I just quilted around the arches and did a simple design in center. I'm posting a pic so you can see. Bet we have some of the same fabrics.
