You did a magnificent job in getting this quilt ready to be quilted. I have done these before and you have to be so careful with dealing with another quilter's problem. Sometimes a simple pattern is what a quilt needed so there is no distraction from the beautiful fans this lady pieced.

I agree that done is much better than in the drawer. Modified is fine.

All too often, the reason tops have been stuffed in a draw for years is because they did not turn out square. But it is such a joy to see them finished and the families enjoying them. You did a wonderful job making this one into something the family and use and cherish.
