I like it but it looks like "barbed wire" to me so I would call it a barbed wire fence. LOL

It's really great to see how a straightforward stitch-in-the-ditch can be an excellent choice for a quilt. AND it works on the back as well. Really nice work, both of you!

I agree with jilaine. I've got a quilt top made from the Urban Fences pattern from Kansas Troubles that I have been thinking of doing SID quilting on===I don't know if I can be as neat as this quilt. I'm glad to have seen a top totally done in SID. I would like to try this pattern sometime.

I was doubtful if I could do SID on this quilt and keep it looking really nice, but several years ago I had quilted this same pattern, same colors with SID on a wall hanging for this same customer. When she brought the quilt to me I felt I needed to quilt it the same way as the wall hanging was quilted so if she decided to use them in the same room they would look well together. It was very time consuming as I needed to really slow down to stay in the ditch. But all said and done I really love the quilt. I am glad I broke out of the thinking that quilts with a lot of angles need cury quilting to soften them. I encourage you to go for it!!
