Walking in a Winter Wonderland

Due to the last winter storm that had us snowed in on the first day of Spring, I thought this Winter Wonderland hand embroidered quilt that it took me 6 1/2 months to finished would match the "beautiful" weather.I have embroidered this quilt in a various colors and adding more blocks to the original quilt.For the border I embroidered global snowball. Beautiful job on the embroidery and I love that you did it in multiple colours. Can't believe that only took you six months, you must have been snowed in a lot this winter :D.

Beautiful quilt. I just love doing embroidery while I watch tv. It may have taken 6.5 mo to do, but I'll bet you will be looking for the next one to stitch. You've made a real keepsake there!

This is truly amazing - can't find any embroidery patterns where I live- Need to know where to order some-I love doing embroidery.

Not my favorite type of quilt when mixing blocks with embroidery but this I love!!!! Mrs. Snowman hanging candy canes on the clothesline is the cutest ever!!!

I love hand embroidery, and your accomplishment is absolutely the best! 6 1/2 months doesn't seem like that long for all that hand work. You obviously love hand embroidery too. I do cross stitch but not embroidery. I need to give it a try. Thanks for the inspiration!
