Not bad, really. I used a large needle and tried not to go too fast, to avoid getting the thread too hot from friction.

Your beautiful quilting elevated a pretty panel print to spectacular. Your thread choices are just perfect and add a very elegant finish. I know metallic thread can be difficult to use without breaking but you seem to have found the right combination of settings. You inspire me to try it-on my DSM.

A marvelous quilt. These panels are fabulous. I was luck to purchase one of the series at a show. What you did is with this one is fabulous and I am inspired to work on mine.

It came out really nice! I like the idea of starting with a panel to practice other techniques (like thread work). Then you aren't as inhibited...like thinking you might mess up a quilt that in itself took a lot of time to put together.
