Warmer-Upper for my FiL
 

Though he lives in Florida, he is in his late 80s and gets chilly--I'm hoping this flannel quilt will help.

Oh that is so pretty, and just perfect. He will love it. My father is 81, and he chills very easy. It is getting cold here though, and I want to make him one, but since my mom died in 2012 dad uses the quilts she always made. I think it helps him feel she is there close to him. Thank you for sharing that, and I love the ties too.

I know he will love it. I don't always wrap up in a quilt to get physically warm, I sometimes wrap up to feel a hug.

I am in central FL near Ocala and a few miles from gulf and it is cold here right now. Going to get down to 40's to night and I just put sweats on because I was freezing. I don't care where you live when temp goes down from 80' to 50 and 40's in one day, you sure know it. And wind blowing good to make it worse. And we are used to heat so cold really gets to us older people. I am sure your FIL will just love a soft warm quilt to get under.
