Use color catchers or Retayne to prevent color runs. Your quilt is absolutely great! Love its shaded feature. Thanks for sharing.

If she has a front loading washing machine, Retayne won't work, as the machine has to be filled with hot water with the Retayne...and front loaders don't work that way. At least, mine doesn't.
