Watercolour Star
 

I started this quilt back in September, with the vague thought that I wanted to make a watercolour quilt. Not being one to conform to patterns, I played around with various arrangements on my wall and ended up with this. Quilt is done, quilted, and bound - and now just needs to survive it's first trip through the washer to remove the pencil marks. Think happy, non-bleeding thoughts for me :)

absolutely stunning! I absolutely love it!

If she has a front loading washing machine, Retayne won't work, as the machine has to be filled with hot water with the Retayne...and front loaders don't work that way. At least, mine doesn't.

It is just beautiful. Love the design! You did beautiful work. Wash it with Synthropol to prevent any bleeding from coloring the white... and do not use a High efficeincy ( low water) washer! If there is a bleeder .. using a low water washer will make a concentrated solution of the dye that is shed.
