My DH says the circles. But, I thought that made it look more like the Dresden Plate. I love Dresden plates though. I kinda like the idea of the round ones in the middle and the curleyques around the outside for a border. I also thought of putting a plain block inbetween the fan blocks but vetoed that idea. Too much plain fabric. More input please!!
I like the third best but . . . is your hubby gonna use it?

I told him what the general consensus was and he said I could do whatever I wanted but he still like the circles better. I'm trying to come up with a way that I can use all three. I've layed them out on point, and in half circles, staggered, with plain blocks inbetween. I'm still making more blocks. I have about 40 of them made so I will have to decide pretty soon which way they should go. Who knows, I make have to make one with all of them.

I vote the third one. It reminds me of a quilt that my Momma made for me when I was little.

I am no expert. IMHO I like the 3rd layout the best.
