Today's panels are so pretty that they make a great starting point for quilts. I don't think it is cheating and the recipients will be thrilled.

The quilts are wonderful. As a frequent panel user, I can tell you it's not cheating. A panel is just another piece of fabric, and each panel presents it's own unique design and fabric decisions. I also am a big fan of multiple borders to build and enhance the panel, so really like these.
The folks who receive these quilts will be thrilled to get them and their lives will be brightened by their presence. |
