My daughters and I entered quilts in our local guild quilt show. We won ribbons!! YEA! This is the first time we've entered a competition. :)
This is Rosalee's quilt. She is too young to join the guild, so she can't compete. But she can make and hang a quilt in the show and she got a pretty Participation Ribbon. I am so proud of her!! [ATTACH=CONFIG]263764[/ATTACH] This is Rayanna with her award winning quilt! She is 14 years old and won Honorable Mention (4th place). I am so proud of her! Our guild just started a Junior Guild last year. The age they set is 12 years old.

All of the quilts are wonderful but I really LOVE Rosalee's fabric choices and these are not colors I would ordinarily be drawn to. I love the floral fabric.

Congratulations to one and all-at first I thought the poppies inquilt #1 were pieced but I love the color. The cars quilt looks as if it was done by someone who has been quilting for years!!!!! And I especially love the monkeys-is that an original pattern???
