My bedroom set was bought out of the paper- $250.00 and you can't beat the quality. It's fruitwood from the 70's and I love it!
My sewing room had the 40's Art Deco waterfall set I bought for $300. The mattress & boxspring cost more! Bought a sewing machine in cabinet today- $20.00. WooHoo!! Will clean it up and turn it on and see what I really got. It's a Singer Fashion mate, it appears that my Singer attachments should fit it. I already offered it to my daughter, but spouse says to keep it since it's better than the 1950's student desk I use. Checking on another machine- a Singer with attachments. Waiting for pics to see if it's worth going after. There's also a $40 Singer Merritt on local Craigslist- result of a divorce. Would work well to replace the one I bought on Ebay and got totally ripped off- stitches don't work, didn't come with the piece that the attachments go to- broke the zipper foot- plastic- just getting it off the machine. Anyway- totally off subject here--- hope your quilt grows to queen size (who wants queen size- I want to be next to my spouse, not looking for him). Post pics when you get it done. Barb |
lol Barb!
We did about 18 years in a full size. FINALLY upgraded to queen. I love it. Just the right amount of room. Bill wants a king, but no way! |
