The double wedding ring pattern will always be one of my favorite traditional quilt patterns. Great job and I am sure they will love it. I have two double wedding ring patterns that I am working on - the fons and porter laser cut batik one and then the one with the star in the center of each connecting corner (it is paper pieced). The fons and porter one is okay but it has a little smoky smell to it from when it was laser cut plus a tiny brown tinge around the edges of each piece.

This is a beautiful wedding ring quilt. I started one for my sister about 2-3 yrs ago and never did finish it. It was so hard for me. I hope to get it completed some day. I will have to watch to tutes.
