The double wedding ring pattern will always be one of my favorite traditional quilt patterns. Great job and I am sure they will love it. I have two double wedding ring patterns that I am working on - the fons and porter laser cut batik one and then the one with the star in the center of each connecting corner (it is paper pieced). The fons and porter one is okay but it has a little smoky smell to it from when it was laser cut plus a tiny brown tinge around the edges of each piece.

Beautiful quilt even if the photo is upside down. I am sure they are going to love it and enjoy it for many years to come.

Wow! You made a beautiful DWR. The colors are beautiful, the piecing and quilting are wonderful.
My grandmother made a DWR for me when I got married, I really treasure it.
