Started out making the larger top with a Moda, "Frolic", fat quarter bundle. The smaller version was then made to use up more fabric. While trying to use up those corner triangle pieces that are cut off ~ the other two were then sewn together. I now know that the smaller version of triangles sewn together into squares is just not my thing....way too small and too many seems for me. Do you use the small pieces? If so, i'm happy to save them for you, please let me know. Thanks.

You did a great job using up the small triangles. I have been checking all my scraps wanting to use them up. Thanks for showing an example of what it can look like.

I love your projects, and the little left overs are what my 8 year old GD uses to make patterns with, then she tries to sew them all and I sometimes have to help her finish her small quilts

brookemarie19 03-11-2011 03:38 PM

How small are your triangle pieces? I love they way you put them together. Your bigger quilt and the medium one looks awesome! You have done a great job

I love working with tiny pieces! If you save those little pieces for me I'd be happy to send you money for postage :)
