We went on vacation this week and since it was raining at times we had some time available to hit some quilt shops. :D And it was fun! At one of the shops we hit, they had a few hundred bolts of Moda fabrics marked down to $5 a yard or 6 yards for $25. Bought a bunch there. :) As you can see, most of the stuff I bought is 1800s/Civil War repros, as well as 1930s repros. The two jelly rolls were marked down to $20 each. Those stacks across the back are 1 yard cuts each, and the larger pieces in front are 4-5 yard pieces because I really liked them. Total = 57 yards. A productive vacation!

We went to the beach at Destin, Florida. There were two shops in neighboring Fort Walton that we went to, one was Lynn's Sewing Center and the other was The Sewing Center Around The Block. The later was the one with all of the $5 per yard Moda fabric.

We also stopped through Stitch-n-Frame in Vicksburg, MS on our way back home. They're the ones that I bought my Gammill longarm through. Wow, what a store they have! 10,000 bolts of fabrics. I was like a kid in a candy store! :D

The beaches in Destin are whiter than snow. My DD and family moved there this week. My DSIL has a used car business there. I miss them so already. Been to both those shops, nice.
