I like the orange best.

Orange!!!!
|
The back is a darker green, which would do fine with either color. Purple, green and orange are all secondary colors and therefore play well with each other. I was sort of tending toward the orange because I thought it made it "pop". Stringing some of the colors together is a good idea, too, and I hadn't thought of that. Think I'll sleep on it and look at it again in the morning with brighter eyes and more energy! This is a panel that I had seen on this sight and thought, WOW! Ethan would love all the colors and the dinosaurs were so cute! I did the over-all panto because we are flying to see them and the new baby on Aug. 16, and I need to get both done before I go. I'll post a picture of it with the binding when it is done.
This group is fantastic! Can't believe I can get 3 pages of opinions in a couple of hours! Thanks so much! |
the orange looks better to me but I also like cdarts2's idea and using more than one color. I've done that on one quilt, partially because I didn't have enough but also because I like it. It makes the quilt look different as I don't see it that much on quilts for some reason

orange here
|
I vote green!
|
i'd use both! maybe 6"-9" segments- pieced together---
i like them both and love being creative with bindings :) |
I like the quilt. I think any of your choices would be good for the binding. I would probably go with the green or a plain black.
|
I favor the green. wonderful quilt

I like my binding to be the same as the outer border. I don't want the eye to go to the binding.
