Thanks for all the help with the baby quilt binding! However, I just finished the dinosaur quilt for the 2 yr old and I had thought I would just use the fabric from the black with colored dots from the first border or the light green from the second border for the binding. So I previewed: No to the black with dots, but the green looked OK....then I noticed an orange, so I previewed that and I looked and looked......OK, I'll let you look...3 pics.

Here's what i do...i love them both, but i always use the one that comes the closest to "using up the fabric"... that's my goal and i stickin' to it!!!! :)

Hey,I have an idea. I noticed that any of the colors in that quilt works, so why not use all of them, one of each color around the border laid out the way the orange and the green are to repeat the variegated thread.

I like the orange as binding because it will draw your eye into the blocks. The green will guide your eye to the inner green border.

i am going to throw a wrench in this. I would go with a blue if it were me. the green would look out of place or make the purple that way and the orange is not my color. I think that a nice blue would be wonderful or another black would look good.

Oh that quilt is just too cute! For the binding...honestly it'd come down to a coin toss for me. Either one would look great!
