Let her stand alone and put just a simple border of the dark. It's a lovely quilt and I wouldn't do anything to distract from her.

I agree number 1 simple. I liked it as soon as I saw it
I will probably be stoned for this but I like #3...and #1. :D

I lpve the stripede cornerstone

I like the points-- probably because it is different. :)
another vote for the first border choice
I like the first one too. Very pretty.
I like the first simple border.
I love #1

I have made many Bargello quilts and I find it best to use your darkest color as the border as you have done. I do think your first choice is the best. I prefer an accent border. GOOD LUCK. I am sure they will have many years of enjoyment from this beautiful quilt you have made.

I agree with this. Let the border showcase your beautifully done Bargello.

And, personally, I'd lose the thin lighter colored inner border. Dulls the glow of the actual Bargello. |

My two cents: I like the first one -- as many others said, it doesn't distract from the gorgeous body of the bargello. Great job on it, by the way!!
The first one.
first pic, simple looks best
I like the first one. It doesn't take away from the bargello.
Beautiful colors, she will love it. |
I like the simple double. A beautiful quilt.
Inner and outer border dark with a narrow strip of bargello. The dark will stop the action of the quilt and the strip of bargello will add interest to the border.
The frist!!!
Here is my two cents for what it's worth.....I like the first one the best!
I like the first one also, simple double border. But I probably would make the darker green a little narrower. Just my thought. I love the colors. I'm working on getting fabrics together to make a large wall hanging. I'm having a hard time with the colors I want to use.
I like the 1st one the best.
I think the first one looks best but the second one is nice if you match up the narrow border colors to the colors in the main quilt

I'd opt for the simple double border. It is very pretty and doesn't make the quilt busier or take attention away from it. The prairie points are cute, but save them for something else.
I like the first one too.
I think the frist, let the main top speak for itself.A strong boarder will take away from your beautiful work and the wonderful colors
I like 1 also.
First one.
I like the 4th one with the points. Beautiful quilt, love all the colors.
Beautiful quilt!

Single dark border to frame your beautiful quilt.
I like the first one since it seems (to me) to focus your eyes on the movement of the bargello. Nice work!
I think the first.
I agree! Beautiful choice of colors and workmanship! Lovely.
I personally like # 5. Beautiful quilt...I can hardly wait to see the final product.
