Can you tell me if you did the straight grain of fabric with the original blocks or with the finished side. I have a lot of 100 yr old blocks that slightly vary in size and quality of piecing. I will end up losing triangle points no matter what I do. This is really close but a better idea than what I was planning on doing. Thank you so much.

What a great way to balance all those off-sized blocks. I'll have to add that to my bag of tricks. Love your sashing and background for the blocks. Thanks for inspiring and sharing.

Both were cut "on grain". If you are concerned about the quality of your blocks, perhaps you should put some stabilizer On them to hold their shape. Sandy |
