Wonderful quilt!!!!!

Can you tell me if you did the straight grain of fabric with the original blocks or with the finished side. I have a lot of 100 yr old blocks that slightly vary in size and quality of piecing. I will end up losing triangle points no matter what I do. This is really close but a better idea than what I was planning on doing. Thank you so much.

What a great way to balance all those off-sized blocks. I'll have to add that to my bag of tricks. Love your sashing and background for the blocks. Thanks for inspiring and sharing.

Clever is the word! A clever work-around! And I call this quilt "wonky & wonderful" because it's beautiful in its wonkiness! I just love it!!!

Both were cut "on grain". If you are concerned about the quality of your blocks, perhaps you should put some stabilizer

On them to hold their shape.
