my vote table runner or a wall hanging.
I would use them as the basis for a new quilt. Take each one and create a log cabin around it. These can be the center squares. then just do regular log cabin squeares for the rest of the quilt.
you could sew them on a plain canvas bag
Tote bags. They only show one side at a time, so who will know?
I agree, use it as the center of a quilt. Pillows would be nice, or 4 placemats.
How about placemats?
They are beautiful You should do something with them A lot of ideas here for you
tablerunners---pot holders etc. What are their dimensions?
I would definitely use them in a quilt..I really think if you don't use tablerunners or it's not practical to frame them a quilt would be the best bet.
I vote for table runners. Its getting onto Christmas present time, and those would be great
There is a potholder exchange going on here on the board, sign-up deadline is late October. Maybe turn them into potholders and join the exchange?
Showcase them on a pillow case.
What a great pattern! There are so many possibilities. If they go with your decor, I would make toss pillows for the couch or bed.

I think I have decided to go with a table runner. But all the other ideas are great.
They are 8x8 BTW Now just to see if I have any brown fabric to make sashings out of. Next week. This week is housebreaking 2 adult foster dogs. A cocker spaniel and a chihuahua. Yep I am certifiably nuts. !!! |
I like the tablerunner idea, but was also thinking about putting sashing between them and start a center for a quilt, or use them for corners of quilt. Whatever you do, I'm sure it will be beautiful. :o)
You could add a sash to all of them and make them the focal point of a lap quilt or a quilt.

Now that I have decided to make a table runner. First one ever. I need to decide what fabric to use for sashings. I chose 3 out of the 5 I pulled. I am trying to do this all from my stash. Opinions please.
Then I need to go look at table runners and see what others have done with them |
I definitely Like the 1st one... the brown.
Out of the 3. The first one, Brown
I have that same pattern and used poinsettia print on a white background and made table runners for Christmas as gifts. Everyone loved them.. or said they did!

You could put them in individual frames.
Definitely the brown. Reminds me of sunflowers!

Use the square in a square method to set them on point and then alternate them with solid blocks of the same size in either a very light color or a very dark one. Use the same fabrics you used in the blocks or at least the same colors to make several different size borders. You could end up with a bed size quilt. It would be a shame to waste those blocks. You did a great job on them.
I vote for the brown.
Brown one.
They are pretty and would look awesome as a table runner!
I would use them in a quilt and would add blocks with appliqued or paper pieced flowers. I have a very definate picture in my mind.......send the blocks my way LOL
Brown looks the best to me.
Line them with black, and you have a stained glass look, they are beautiful, and you did a beautiful job on them God bless.
