When I started quilting I took a beginning class and my instructor (who I just adored!) said there are never any mistakes only design opportunities. I have always remembered that. I don't see any mistakes in your table topper. I love it! I would border and or bind in black. It's great!

You did a great job with needle turn applique--that is a hard technique to master.
