I also agree with the black border but can I add-- what about using a bright varigated thread for quilting? Would make it all pop.

First...this is just gorgeous.
Second...I agree on a black border & use the scraps of color used in the quilt for the binding.
Or....use black for the border & the binding and quilt it with bright variagated thread. At this point, you can't really go wrong.

I agree a black border will look set it off and then bind it in scraps of the all the other colours. I plan too do this binding on a coloured on black Amish type quilt my husband made (he quilts but does not do the binding! lol)
