You could put a second border, but I think it will look finished when you bind it.

I agree with everyone a black border. Gorgeous quilt

I agree a solid black border will set off the design and I like the idea of a scrappy border!Very nice work!!

Very pretty quilt!

And I would strip the colors together and then cut them on the bias. Think that would be perfect

Second...I agree on a black border & use the scraps of color used in the quilt for the binding.
Or....use black for the border & the binding and quilt it with bright variagated thread. At this point, you can't really go wrong.

This is my opinion too.

black border and binding, my rule for quilts is to use the darkest color in the quilt for last border and binding, think of it as a picture frame to keep your eye on the quilt. I made one quilt my 4 patch and did not follow "MY rule" and I find my eyes go off on the white part of the binding but stay on in the colored part of the binding. Now this is "MY" rule and I am by no means the QP, to each there own.

I know exactly what it needs!! A box with my address on it!

I have several Mariner's Compass Stars in those colors with a black background that it will go just perfect with!

Other than that... a black border.

Yup, solid black border and perhaps a scrappy bright binding.
