Cool quilt. I keep giving my kids a hard time about all the remakes of songs I listened too. I tell them they need to get their own music and stop remaking mine. Tee Hee :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

Thank you everyone, for your kind comments. Yes his Mom told me he went wild over his new quilt. And that it went with the skull and crossbones curtains I made for him last fall. Now he wants his Dad to paint his room black. I remember using black-light paint on my walls. And now teenagers ask for black-lights and the posters again. Remember those.

I love it! I agree on many about our kids NEW music. Um hello. That was my fav. when I was a teen. lol

What a lot of memories this quilt brings back,lol!! I love ALL kinds of music and so do my children& grandchildren. I always have music playing and when I worked third shift, I played the radio while I slept to drown out noise. My DH said my feet would move to the music in my sleep!

I like that quilt!!! What's REALLY scary??? My 18 yo grandaughter and I singing to the same rock songs...my version 35 years ago, her version current!! WOW!!

To each his/her own. I like nothing better than putting a good rock cd in while I clean. I'm a child of the late 60's and 70's. I like it all. It gives me energy and the work goes faster. My kids sing along with me. They love AC/DC, The Eagles, and all the other bands of the day. Then I get to retreat to the sewing room and quilt.

kind of like when my son came home all excited to tell me about this cool new group he had just heard (he was in middle school at the time)...it was the Grateful Dead -still had my LP's...then had to explain what they were.
