What do you mean by hard? are you asking about the shape? if so i used freezer paper and that's why i am doing one block at a time so i can reuse the same papers instead of cutting more (that's a lot of waste ) and God knows when am i ever going to do one more like this

Enjoy~ Are the hexs hard ? |
OMG that is a lot of hexies...lol you should make different layouts. I was searching online of different ones then i came across a magazine that i have that has the one i decided to use, but there is a lot more. Good luck and yes it is very good idea to take overseas instead of carrying a machine and all:)

In 2 months there, I made nearly 30 flowers-I have no idea how many I need - I just kept making them! I have cut hex's for about another 20! Then to make the white hex's for the background! I go back overseas next month so I will probably finish the flowers and make a good start on the white hex's. I only work on that overseas since it is so portable. I hope someday to get them sewn together-I bet I'll have enough for 2 queen quilts! I don't really have a layout pattern, but I guess I'll figure that out when I think I have enough-I am just enjoying the hand-work so much! I love the added applique on your pattern! Will love to see it finished and what you have done with it!!
